Thank you for your further letter. Unfortunately
we have not made much progress with your play - Mahler. The
processes whereby plays are read, considered, purchased,
adapted and produced are regrettably quite lengthy. The
major difficulty with - Mahler - will be the adaptation, because
it will need a very good adapter who is very much in tune with
the subject.
So having said all that you will no doubt recognize -
that we would not be in a position to help you for quite. some
time, and definitely not by October.
The fact though that you are going to present the
play at the Norwich Festival interests me because I shall be
in England from September until early December and I should
like to come and see it performed.
